MY FAVORITE MOVIE SCENE.


 -MY GRANDFATHER IS A DANGER-







My favorite scene in the movie, it's part of the ending.


When Dick ( the grandpa), with the help of national security, hack the system during Jason's wedding (his grandson), revealing embarrassing photos of him, which he took during a crazy party in Daytona Beach.




Jason, looking at the photos, tells the guests that he has always heard from everyone about what to do with his life. He tells his fiancee Meredith that he is sorry but that he cannot marry her, Meredith is enraged and reveals that she had sex with her cousin Nick while he was away, although Jason does not listen to her, his cousin quickly tells him that Meredith has it . Said go and do what you have to do.



Jason leaves the wedding and finds his grandfather sitting outside. With the help of Pam (a drug dealer), they decide to reach the bus in which Shadia (his former college photography partner, who he wants to be with travels}.




David (Dick's son and Jason's father), tries to stop Jason from leaving by, threatening to put him out of work in his office, so Pam gives him electric shocks, knocking him unconscious, they put him in the ice cream truck and they leave.


Grandpa drives like crazy while Pam draws penises on Jason's father's face.

Grandpa exceeds the speed limit and policemen start chasing them. During the chase the grandfather reaches the bus in which Shadia was going.




Jason yells at her through the window to stop the bus because he has to talk to her, but the driver refuses to stop. Grandpa makes the crazy decision to go head-on with the bus so that it stops. Jason gets out of the ice cream truck and tells Shadia that he is not getting married anymore and that being together was great, that they really felt something.


Jason asks her to stay, but she can't because she has already decided to spend a year on a boat, documenting the effects of climate change on the ocean.




Jason confronts his father and decides to go with Shadia, the girl he wants to be with, to be whatever he wants to be.





I really like this movie because personally it is too funny a movie and also because of the wise message it gives to the audience.

The message that no one should influence our decision making, even if they are our parents

That I should do what I want to be in life, without pleasing others by making my life unhappy, always guiding myself by what I really like to do and being with someone with whom I can be who I really am. By not letting others decide what is best for me, no one will know what is best for me, more than myself. :)

THE NEW YEAR´S TRADITION.

-NEW YEAR-      The arrival of the "New Year" is celebrated by most countries around the world. Each one celebrates it in their own way, in the company of family, partner, friends or simply alone.  Personally, I think it is not bad to celebrate it alone, but it is always better with some company. :)     I celebrate the New Year with a delicious dinner in the company of family and friends. Most of the years I usually go with my family nucleus to my grandmother's house (my mother's mother). I love going to my grandmother's house, because my whole family gathers there for New Years dinner, my uncles, my cousins, everyone. We all meet from 11:00 pm. As it is the reunion, we all welcome each other with a smile, a big hug or a handshake. Mom prepares a lot of delicious food to share with everyone, in the same way my uncles share something delicious that they have prepared for dinner.
