THE NEW YEAR´S TRADITION.

-NEW YEAR-

     The arrival of the "New Year" is celebrated by most countries around the world. Each one celebrates it in their own way, in the company of family, partner, friends or simply alone. Personally, I think it is not bad to celebrate it alone, but it is always better with some company. :)   

I celebrate the New Year with a delicious dinner in the company of family and friends. Most of the years I usually go with my family nucleus to my grandmother's house (my mother's mother).

I love going to my grandmother's house, because my whole family gathers there for New Years dinner, my uncles, my cousins, everyone.

We all meet from 11:00 pm. As it is the reunion, we all welcome each other with a smile, a big hug or a handshake.

Mom prepares a lot of delicious food to share with everyone, in the same way my uncles share something delicious that they have prepared for dinner.

Everything is great, lots of food, good talks, lots of laughs, everything healthy, almost no alcohol, it's a very pleasant moment.

Before midnight, Mom usually puts some lentils in my pockets, she says it is to have an economic abundance in the new year.

When it's 12:00 a.m. We all hug each other with a pat on the back. We raise a few glasses or glasses with cider and toast the New Year, to make it an incredible year, wishing us the best in the world, good health, prosperity and good vibes. All very genuine.

We smash some piñatas, we drink punch.

My grandmother usually goes to church at midnight, every year she has done it for as long as I can remember.

My nephews burn some flar lights and smile very happy.

After 1:00 in the morning I reply to the messages of good wishes that my friends send me and I take the opportunity to write to the girl I like.

I go home after a few hours, to sleep.

Not everyone celebrates it in the same way, but at least that is how I celebrate with my family, the tradition of the arrival of the new year. :)
