  • She told me that she used to have 3 friends, with whom she used to play food, using clay containers such as pots, jugs and a grinder.

     

  • She told me that when she was young, she didn't used to go to school. She used to stay home to take care of her mother.

  •  My grandmother used to make tortillas. 


  •   She used to dress in dresses made of blanket.

     

  •  MY grandmother used to work at the home of the renowned painter Rodolfo Morales.

  •  She said that when she was young she used to travel by train.

     

  •  My grand mother used to go to sell clothes to other towns.

     

  • She told me that when she got married, she used to live with her in-laws.

     

  • My grandmother told me that she didn't usually celebrate Christmas because money used to be tight.

THE COLONY WHERE I LIVE.

      Hi!                     I am from the community of Ocotlán de Morelos, Oaxaca.                     There is a lot to talk about my great community, but I will  focus on telling you about the pretty neighborhood where I  live. I currently reside in the “Colony Jacarandas”. There is a good atmosphere around here, quite quiet, to tell the truth, the whole neighborhood always treating each other with respect. In my neighborhood there is a preschool level called "José Vasconcelos", in which I studied. There is a soccer field known as “La Bomba” where I used to go running in the mornings. There is a Public Health Center. There is an elementary school called "Vicente Gonzalez" I never studied here, although it was close to home. There is a small playground, with swings and stuff. OCTOBER FESTIVAL IN ALBUQUERQUE.

-THE ALBUQUERQUE HOT AIR BALLOOM FESTIVAL-      There is a lot to talk about this festival but I will try to be brief.       It is the largest hot air balloon festival in the world. It is an annual hot air balloon festival, held three weekends in October in the city of Albuquerque (New Mexico). It is also considered the most photographed event in the world, since hundreds and hundreds of balloons of unimaginable shapes and colors participate each year, it is an event that brings together people from all over the world. The history of this festival began in 1972, when it was first held to commemorate the 50th anniversary of radio station 770 KOB.
